EZ Origami

This model has been in progress for over half a year... I paused when I'd completed five stages, then completed the smallest three stages when I attended Origami Deutschland's 36th Convention, in Bonn. It's folded from 64 squares of silver/black duo kraft paper. The colours Evan picked seemed to work well, so I went with the same! Paper for the largest stage measures 100mm, and paper for the eighth stage measures just 15.38mm! The overall model measures 200mm between points.

This model, is folded from 10 squares of duo kraft paper, each measuring 48mm. The completed model measures approximately 10cm at its widest point.

This model, is folded from 8 squares of duo kraft paper, each measuring 72.5mm. The completed model measures approximately 10cm at its widest point. I was playing around with the colours and quite like the alternating gold/silver and blue/silver!

This model, is folded from 60 golden rectangles of kraft paper, each measuring 44.8mm x 72.5mm. The completed model measures approximately 11cm at its widest point. This photo shows the models three-fold symmetry, with an even colour distribution. The design was inspired by Nick Robinson's A4 Rhombic Unit.

This model, is folded from 57 squares of dyed pulp kraft paper, each measuring 48mm. The completed model measures 193mm x 223mm and the units hold together really well, (without glue). I learnt how to fold this when Evan taught it at OrigamiUSA's - Convention 2021.
