Paper for the largest stage measures 145mm (≈6"), and paper for the third stage measures one third that of the largest stage, 48.33mm (≈2"). I learnt how to fold this star during one of Evan's classes at the Origami Deutschland 2026 Convention in Bonn. This model is folded from 8 squares of silver/gold duo kraft paper, each measuring 9cm (3.5"). The completed star measures approximately 12.7cm (5") at its widest point. I like the silver/gold paper, but it highlights inaccuracies in my folding, so maybe it's best folded from non-metallic colours?

I learnt how to fold this star during one of Evan's classes at the Origami Deutschland 2026 Convention in Bonn. This model is folded from 8 squares of green/gold duo kraft paper, each measuring 72.5mm. The completed model measures approximately 10.5cm at its widest point.

This model has been in progress for over half a year... I paused when I'd completed five stages, then completed the smallest three stages when I attended Origami Deutschland's 36th Convention, in Bonn.
It's folded from 64 squares of silver/black duo kraft paper. The colours Evan picked seemed to work well, so I went with the same! Paper for the largest stage measures 100mm, and paper for the eighth stage measures just 15.38mm! The overall model measures 200mm between points.
